The central issue of this paper is the analysis of teachers’ conceptions and actions regarding Environmental Education (EE) in a school on the coast of Brazil. It is a qualitative research carried out with a group of five teachers who teach the early years of Elementary School in a school located near the sea in Rio Grande, RS. It aims at verifying how these teachers perform their personal and/or professional activities regarding Environmental Education in the school and in the community.
