Perceptions of road drivers on the importance of fauna conservation.

The present study analyze how road drivers from Feira de Santana (BA), perceptions the importance of fauna conservation, aiming to provide support for an environmental education program. The interviews were conducted with formulary applied to drivers through by-judgment non-probabilistic sampling method. Data were qualitatively analyzed by content analyses technique, conclude that the driver's perception, though having revealed positive attitudes about fauna conservation, needs demonstration the promotion an environmental education program comprising discussion of the conception of environment under a historical perpective and which represents valorization in terms of labor, economy and opportunitiesDownloads
