Abstract

The conventional production of food or agribusiness, anchored in a distortion between the essential value use of food to the real needs of humanity, health and quality of life, and its exchange value as commodities forged as a source of wealth in capitalist production mode, has imposed on human beings an unhealthy diet, full of contaminants, residue of production. The engendered writings discuss the essential demand by another food production, anchored in principles and values consistent with the collective yearning for the health of the body, nature and society, with a view to overcoming the unsustainability of conventional agriculture on the quality of environment.
