O PROJETO SALA VERDE EM UNIÃO DOS PALMARES/AL: POSSIBILIDADES E DESAFIOS DE UM CENTRO DE REFERÊNCIA EM EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL

This article aims to discuss the overall scope of the Sala Verde project as a public policy on environmental education, as well as to outline the process of consolidating these centers of excellence in environmental education from the case study of the Sala Verde Serrana dos Quilombo in União dos Palmares/AL. Thus, among the matters proposed to be reflected in this article are those relating to their own environmental education practices that have been promoted by the Salas Verdes. Nevertheless, we understand how convenient ponder how environmental education is understood by the coordinators of these institutions and how they articulate partnerships at the local level in order to achieve the goals they set as reference centers for environmental education . The results of this study were constructed from interviews with the staff coordinator of the Sala Verde Serrana dos Quilombos, and observation visits to the study site. Accordingly, we conclude that the assessment that the subjects do the project in the Sala Verde in União dos Palmares/AL include to some extent both the size of the possibilities that the project has itself as well as the challenges that still need to be overcome like the difficulty of linkage of partners, for example.Downloads
