The viability of using the school´s vegetable garden as a science and biology labs

The school´s vegetable garden is an environment that should be explored for the learning and students welfare. Not all the schools have labs for experiments in Science and Biology. Considering this need, this essay aimed to present a textbook with practical lessons, using the school´s vegetable garden as a lab. The textbook was shown to 23 teachers, of 10 different public schools of Cascavel – Parana, together with a structured questionnaire. Most of the teacher thought the textbook was viable, because it will help carrying practical lessons, at schools that have vegetable garden.Downloads
