Collections school: space of protection and preservation of historical and educational heritage

In this article the authors seek to emphasize the challenges relating to prospecting and retention of documents dealing with the school reality. Document within the meaning of Le Goff considered the result of an assembly (consciously or not) of a determined society. It eliminates, preserves and handles. Thus, dialogue with history, with the museology and other related areas, using as theoretical support, authors such as Le Goff, Ginzburg, Pesez, Viñao, Julia, Meneses, Bruno, Chagas and Cury, we discuss the relevance of public policies to preserve collections of school, the retention of these documents, their nature and potential for research in the field of education.Downloads
