This text's main objective is to present a discussion about the Climatology subject in ten textbooks used by public and private schools in the country and identify what their level of detail, relation with other content and it’s in applicability before society issues. Some contents are presented in traditional form, wich they have no application in day-by-day of students, neither relation with others subjects found in books and the relationship with the human aspects. Measures should be implemented by school books authors and teachers, to understand the importance of the Climatology subject in the school Geography. Suggest the systemic view as a way of addressing the content, demonstrating the applicability of these and the interrelationship between the themes in the books so that students can understand the society-nature relations in a more comprehensive and thus power be active in their daily lives.Downloads
