This article focuses on a bibliographical-descriptive study about aesthetic-environmental sensitization as essential methodological tool of Aesthetic-Environmental Education (AEE), effective in the educational-teaching process to promote the capacity of aesthetic-artistic perception (and creation) in human beings, the awareness of human and non-human nature and the development of interpersonal and social relationships, from an aesthetic perspective. The main objective is to describe and go deeper into the aesthetic-environmental sensitization as an educational tool of change and sensitization, through inquiry in bibliographical references and practical experiences concerning to the study object. With a qualitative projection and a descriptive-bibliographical conception, this work is supported by the criteria of some sensitization theoretics and correlatives, such as Pablo René Estévez, the creator of Aesthetic-Environmental Education. Finally, the development of aesthetic-environmental sensitization actions promote the cultivation of aesthetic senses and the sensibility as expressions of a more integral formation of human beings oriented to citizen’s transformation, sensitization and awareness. Especially, searching the construction of a more fair, prosperous and aesthetically sustainable society.
