Abstract In this work we examined the Statutes of the German School Societies of Rio-Grandense School – Rio Grande and Teuto-Brasileira School – Três Vendas – Pelotas and the formation of a student profile through the action of teacher Arno Ristow, who served in both the teaching educandários during the Nationalization of Education. Among the used sources are: statutes of the German School Society in Três Vendas – Pelotas – 1916; statutes of the German School Society of Rio Grande – 1938; notebook of remembrance of the visit of teacher Arno Ristow to Pelotas - 1981, interview with teacher Arno Ristow, Rio de Janeiro - 2011.
