Abstract

Nowadays, the environmental subjects are being discussed by virtue of the need of changes in relation to degradation of the atmosphere. The education, in that sense, it should be pointed out as element for the transformation of the society. Knowing that the garbage is one of the largest problems than it affects directly all the social subjects and you adapt, the effect of an educational lecture was evaluated on recycling, besides aiming at, to become aware on the handling of the school residues and domiciliary. A questionnaire was applied, approaching 90 students, that frequented of the 1st to the 3rd year of the Secondary Education, of both sexes, in the referred school unit. Later, a lecture was accomplished, followed by the application of the same questionnaire for the efficiency of the same to be observed.
