<b>Energia elétrica e seus efeitos no meio ambiente: um estudo sobre as idéias que os alunos do curso de projetos e instalações elétricas do Colégio Técnico Industrial Mário Alquati (CTI), apresentam sobre o tema</b>

Abstract

The present work reports some results of the first instrument of data collecting, from a study developed as part of the master’s dissertation research about the students ideas of the Curso de Projetos e Instalações Elétricas do Colégio Técnico Industrial Mário Alquati (CTI), belonging to the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG), which has as the central theme the electrical energy considering factors of generation, consume and consequent implications for the environment. The instrument consisted on a questionnaire containing six questions, the first two ones contained seven alternatives each, comprising the sources for obtaining electrical energy; the second part was composed by questions where the students were able to expose their ideas in the form of dissertation accompanied by justifications. The results indicated that the understanding about the theme presents patterns which vary from total ignorance to a high degree of commitment with the environmental issues. There were significant differences among ideas, which ones, organized in categories were analysed in a qualitative way trough systemic nets and associating these nets to the use of graphics whenever it was possible to obtain numerical data.
