INVESTIGACIÓN Y NIÑEZ
De la Invisibilidad del Pasado a los Desafíos del Presente y del Futuro

Hablar sobre la niñez y los procesos de construcción de conocimiento que aseguraran un lugar para los niños fue, durante mucho tiempo, un aspecto bastante descuidado. La contribución de áreas como la sociología de la niñez, la pedagogía infantil o, de manera más interdisciplinaria, los estudios de la niñez, al defender la niñez y a los niños como objeto de estudio autónomo, resultó fundamental. Esto aseguró un movimiento que reposicionó a los niños, pasando de ser 'objetos medidos' a 'sujetos participantes en la investigación' (autor, 2022) [1]. Este artículo se propone aportar elementos para caracterizar dicho movimiento, articulando su argumentación en torno a tres movimientos (o fases): Más allá de la subalternidad, Más allá de la objetificación y Más allá del eticomicidio. Estos representan procesos de construcción de conocimiento que otorgan un espacio a los niños como sujetos autores. El artículo también movilizará, a lo largo de los tres movimientos aquí identificados, algunos desafíos emergentes, con el fin de compartir reflexiones que permitan a los investigadores de la niñez desarrollar marcos conceptuales y metodológicos para enfrentar mejor las complejidades a las que se confrontan los niños del siglo XXI.
