This paper aims at reflecting upon our participation in environmental conflicts through responsible attitudes concerning environmental education. Its main theoretical reference is the thought of Humberto Maturana, a Chilean thinker. The text exposes Maturana’s proposals, i. e., the core of Love Biology and Knowledge Biology. Based on this understanding, I have tried to discuss the origin of the conflicts we live in and the comprehension of the possibility that we have of being responsible for our actions in this world, mainly regarding environmental issues.Downloads
