This paper deals with non-formal popular environmental education as a field which dialogues with collective health in search of quality of life connected to social changes in the lives of workers who are involved in educational processes and their needs. It shows how meaningful and how broad non-formal popular environmental education can become when it focuses on the communities’ socioenvironmental problems, thus, promoting autonomy and citizenship.Downloads
