Construindo saberes em educação ambiental: uma prática elaborada para o estágio de docência da CAPES
Abstract
This paper reports an intervention carried out in 2003 in the internship at the Post-graduation Program in Environmental Education at FURG, RS funded by Capes, in partnership with CEFOP (Centro de Formação de Professores da FURG), a teacher education center at FURG, RS). It was a college extension program and the scholarships were granted to students in need. The intervention allowed that a space for discussion and reflection on Environmental Education be created in the university and in the community. Widespread notions of the social and environmental reality were constructed with the participants of the course. Thus, an interaction was developed among undergraduate students, teachers in the community, people who live around the campus, students and people who live in the rural area close to Taim, an ecological reserve, and people who have committed infractions of environmental laws but have got an alternative penalty. The main features of the approach were interdisciplinarity and focus on three ecological domains: mental, social, and environmental, proposed by the environmentalist Félix Guattari.Downloads
