Com Rio Grande na retina: as marcas da educação ambiental na paisagem urbana
Abstract
The worsening of the silent conflict between culture e nature, which is leading the planet to destruction, in ethical and moral terms, identifies Contemporainity as a period of crisis and paradigmatic transition. Being the product of the ethical ideal of a community, the city is the historical mirror of increasing desagregation of social and environmental relations among men in the West. This research aims at deepening the reflection about issues concerning the relations established between the urban man and the environment. To do that, I use photographic images as a tool to transpose, analyze, and interpret the urban space in Rio Grande, exploring its inherent documentary condition. The research articulates two fields – Art and Ecology – and is characterized by its dual nature – bibliographical and interventionist.Downloads
