Abstract

This study aimed to present an integrative review to identify conceptual, methodological and applicability aspects of the results obtained in research on the community resilience construct in situations of pandemics and epidemics to date. The bases used for data collection were: VHL (Virtual Health Library), PubMed, SciELO, PsycNet in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a final sample of 13 articles was obtained. The results identified that the central theme of most articles was related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The action of local leaders, community engagement, communication and secure information are elements that contributed to communities being able to deal with the consequences of Covid-19. It is hoped that this review can generate new research on the topic of community health in [1]populations that face psychosocial problems with endemic diseases, pandemics and other adversities in their territories.
