The origin, evolution and crisis of the dominant paradigm are the starting point of this paper. Furthermore, it analyses the world concepts which support the construction of this new paradigm, considering the ideas and reflections of authors Humberto Maturana, Michel Serres and Ignacy Sachs. To do so, it will be necessary to reconsider the nature of the contracts that regulate life in society and to make education essential for the construction of the communion between human life and the Earth, in its totality. Thus, knowledge will lead to understanding, to comprehending and to acting in consonance with other people and the environment, as well as with a development style based on satisfying social and cultural human needs. All this change requires the study of an outlined space, subject approached by Geography, which leads to understanding human kind and their responsibility in the construction of a better world.Downloads
