In this article we present the results of a socio-environmental diagnosis with approach on gender conducted in an agricultural community in the town of Loreto, located in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico. This research included an approach on environmental and popular education and the tools for participative diagnostic referring to a gender perspective of the Unión Internacional para la Naturaleza (UICN). The recopilation was established since qualitative issues, using the following metodological tools: workshops, interviews in depth, and participant observation. This article is structured as follows: it begins with reflections on the link between the natural resources and the societies, as well as the role of diagnosis for the knowledge of local realities. After that, it presents an analysis of socio-environmental relations in an agricultural community and offers the final recommendations that arose in this study.Downloads
