A pedagogia de projetos e a Educação Ambiental na escola – uma experiência

Abstract

This article presents the Environmental Education project at José de Anchieta School. This is a public school located near the city garbage deposit in a poor area at Morro do Céu, Caramujo, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro estate. Through a brief description of the activities developed we drew a parallel between the Environmental Education and the Projects Pedagogy found literature. At the end we described hat did and didn’t work well throughout our experience in more than three years and the obstacles we hade to face. There is also an anlysis of what we have to do to overcome the difficulties with all the teachers’ participation and the need of having more time available to work on the project.
