Abstract

This paper aims to present a doctoral project that is being carried out in the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Education at the Federal University of Rio Grande. It adopts the approach of historical materialism and uses Netnography to analyze social networks focused on critical feminist themes, in addition to the study technique of Immanent Reading for theoretical and methodological deepening. The objective is to analyze how Critical Environmental Education can be shared through contemporary virtual culture, especially on social networks. The central hypothesis is that social networks can be used as a way to combat the systems of domination that sustain social inequality. It was concluded that integrating the foundations of critical and intersectional feminisms into Critical Environmental Education contributes to combating the oppressive narratives that dominate these environments
