Abstract

Public health policies have increasingly been broadened and gotten relevance in society. Thus, debates and actions on Environmental Education and health have become more frequent. This paper aims to analyze the state of the art of the theme of Environmental Education and health in journals published in Brazil. In order to achieve this objective, papers on this theme were analyzed in journal sites, in on-line publications and at the CAPES on-line portal. Results show that the number of papers on the theme is still very small in comparison with the total number of papers in the environmental area even though it has increased over the past years. Therefore, the interest in the theme of Environmental Education and health is growing in the communities, mainly in the scientific one.
