This article was prepared as a requisite of the course of Experimental Surgery in the graduation program in Health Sciences of FURG. It deals with the use of natural products and describes the most currently used pharmacological tests for the evaluation of a potential antinociceptive effect in experimental animals, which are being conducted in the Laboratory of Natural Products at the Department of Physiological Sciences of FURG.Downloads
