: This study investigated the perception of Physical Education students about knowledge related to inclusive themes in the school context. A descriptive research with a qualitative approach was conducted, involving 11 students of the Physical Education Degree course at a Federal Higher Education Institution. Data collection was done through an online questionnaire with questions about the inclusive subject offered, and the analysis followed the methodology of Bardin (2002). The results indicated that the subject was seen as relevant, offering a theoretical and practical basis for inclusive work, although the discussions were predominantly centered on biomedical approaches. The importance of practical experiences, such as internships and PIBID, was also highlighted to prepare students, promoting confidence and skills to deal with inclusion. It is concluded that it is essential to review the curricular structures, with the aim of providing a more inclusive education aligned with social demands.
