PROFILE OF THE INDIVIDUAL LIFESTYLE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN THE FEDERAL SCHOOL SYSTEM

The present study aimed to describe the profile of the individual lifestyle of Physical Education teachers at the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul – Pelotas Campus, according to the following variables: nutritional habits; level of physical activity; preventive behavior; interpersonal relationships; and, stress management. This is a descriptive case study, following the assumptions of quantitative research. Data collection was performed using two instruments: a semi-structured questionnaire that aimed to identify the sociodemographic profile of the participants; and a questionnaire from the Individual Lifestyle Profile (PEVI). The two instruments were applied simultaneously to the 12 Physical Education teachers of the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul Campus Pelotas, who were part of our sample. The data were analyzed through the mean and percentage, showing through the PEVI star that the interviewees present positive behavior in all components.
