The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between gender and the leisure experiences of Physical Education (PE) teachers from public schools in a city in Minas Gerais during the pandemic. The methodological procedures used were based on the use of a semi-open questionnaire via Google Forms and the conduct of a semi-structured interview via Google Meet. The results showed that gender was a component of difference in opportunity and enjoyment of time, space and leisure practices. In particular, there was the case of people who identified themselves as: cis and heterosexual women and also people who declared themselves gay and cis men. In relation to the leisure practices of these people, the predominance of practices related to virtual content was observed, such as, for example, the use of social networks: Instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok, in addition to the use of digital platforms such as Netflix and Prime Video.
