Abstract

A systematic review was carried out for researching the scientific outputs on bioethics and nursing in the database of Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO Brazil) from 2004 to 2009. By the descriptors bioethics and nursing, twelve papers were found. They were read completely, and the following items were gathered: title, journal, publishing year, method, and main findings. The journal that had most papers published was Acta Paulista (33%); mostly, they were published in 2007 (50%); the most used method was the reflexive essay (42%). The papers have ranged on theme: ethical dilemmas associated with assistance (83%) and professional training (17%).
