ESTUDO DE DOIS CASOS DE CONSTRUÇÃO DE PESQUISAS EM DOCÊNCIA
Abstract
The opening of the Professional Master's Degree in Physical Education at the Federal University of Alagoas presents potential for transforming continued training and performance in the area in formal education, as the state's scientific and socio-educational scenario is critical, despite advances in the last decade. This work, then, aims to understand the process of transforming social and educational issues into research problems in school Physical Education in the Alagoas context. We developed a descriptive and exploratory research of multiple cases, with a qualitative approach to the findings, using the self-study method. We listed three thematic categories for analysis: 1) The relationship between time-appropriation-scientific production of the teacher/researcher within the ProEF routine; 2) The epistemology of practice as a criterion for choosing/defining the social/educational problem to be converted into a research question; and 3) The late arrival of postgraduate courses in PE in Alagoas and the “deviation of purpose” of the curricular component.
