THE IDENTITIES OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION: DOCUMENTAL ANALYSIS OF THE MUNICIPAL CURRICULAR GUIDELINES OF UBERLÂNDIA-MG
ANÁLISE DOCUMENTAL DAS DIRETRIZES CURRICULARES MUNCIPAIS DE UBERLÂNDIA-MG
Abstract
The present work aims to analyse two curricular guidelines for Physical Education in the city of Uberlândia-MG built in a space for continued training. The result of research carried out in the Professional Master's Degree, the study was produced based on document analysis. A recent alignment of the Physical Education curriculum with the BNCC, with modern liquid neoliberalism and its need to develop skills and competencies for the job market was evident to the same extent that it makes the subjects' identities and convictions more flexible. The critical perspectives of the area were placed in the background and a noticeable “forgetfulness” regarding the need for theoretical-epistemological bases for curriculum construction. We conclude that a resumption and repositioning of critical theory in/of Physical Education is necessary, with the intention of repopulating training spaces and curriculum construction movements with collective debates, overcoming individualization and the growing “neutrality” of the curriculum.
