<b>O V de Gowin e a Modelagem: o caso do sistema semiquantitativo VISQ</b>

Abstract

The paper presents a V of Gowin to the work developed until now in modelling, in particular in the research with the VISQ tool. Each item of the V is presented and discussed. The author believes that the paper, with the use of the V, can give a general view of what has been made, as well as the process developed to attain the objectives, and recommends that the V be used also by researchers in the modeling area. He adds that the V helps the researcher to get conscious about the phase that she is in her research.

Arion de Castro Kurtz dos Santos

Atualmente é professor titular da Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande. Tem experiência no ensino de Física Geral (graduação) e Princípios de Sistemas (pós-graduação), na pesquisa em Educação Ambiental com ênfase nas modelagens qualitativa, semiquantitativa e quantitativa, e também na Informática Educativa tendo como base a Dinâmica de Sistemas. Possui doutorado em Science Education - University of London (1992) revalidado no Brasil como doutorado em Educação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2003).
