Summer Camps as possibilities for Extension Curricularization
ESTUDO DE CASO DO FARRA NAS FÉRIAS FEF/UNICAMP
Abstract
Summer Camps and Thematic Holiday Camps have been offered as extension projects in several public and private universities in Brazil. These extension proposals can help graduates from different courses in fulfilling an obligation called Extension Curricularization. The FEF (Faculty of Physical Education) at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) offers numerous university extension projects, including a Summer Camp, Farra nas Férias. The objective of this article was to discuss the contribution of the Farra nas Férias program to the curricularization of extension at FEF/Unicamp. We conclude that the Farra nas Férias is allowing differentiated learning for students of Physical Education and other undergraduate courses at Unicamp. And, since 2022, it has also made it possible to count hours for the Extension Curricularization for students working in the program.
