Abstract

This article presents considerations of the research that had as central problem to analyze the meanings and the meanings of the EE for the children. In this participated 10 children between 4 and 5 years old from a kindergarten class in public schools in Rio Grande-RS. The theoretical permeated the fields of socio-historical approach, in Studies of Children and Environmental Education. Thus, in activities and dialogues that took place in that context, the children got hold of social relations to represent their thinking, talking, feeling, doing and imagine, highlighting the significance and meanings of the EE.
