<b>Observação de aves como ferramenta didática para Educação Ambiental</b>

Abstract

The observation of birds is an activity initiated in Europe in the middle of the XVIII century as leisure, passing now to the status of ecological tourism, being still very limited its exploration as didactic tool, in spite of the recognized benefits that it can provide for the education, especially the environmental, considering its ludic, practical, not based on content, sensorial and experimental character, offering thus multiple possibilities to work contents and attitudes whith the students. The easiness of the observation of birds is founded in the attraction that the birds exercise on the people, above all young and children, allied to its occurrence in all of the areas and atmospheres, the activity without need of equipments, didactic materials and teachers' training.
