Résumé

Mark Potok is an American journalist, activist and academic, specializing in the study of the radical right and violent movements. The interview was carried out through a series of e-mails in the summer of 2021. The main objective of this publication is to disseminate the personal interpretations of one of the most recognizable progressive figures in the American media landscape. At present, there is a boom in intolerant ideas and organized violence inside and outside the digital context, which seems not to have reached its culmination yet. The different sections of the interview try to shed light on key issues such as social polarization, political mythology, social networks, traditional journalism and violent intolerance.
