Abstract

This article will delve into the relationship between women, nature, and work, drawing from the significant insights provided by "ecofeminisms." In this context, the aim is to understand women's resistance against capitalist accumulation and neo-extractivism, particularly in community and indigenous territories, as fundamental components of contemporary socio-environmental struggles. The article will demonstrate how these understandings, demands, and resistances are prominently manifested in the "Marcha das Margaridas (March of the Daisies)." This movement unites diverse rural women in the fight against the development model imposed by capitalism, challenging its harmful and patriarchal extractivist technologies, and denouncing environmentally predatory practices that disproportionately and decisively impact women's lives. The March thus contributes to the strengthening and expansion of the organization, mobilization, and of the union and feminist training of rural women workers.
