Abstract

The advancement of the discussion on entrepreneurship has taken center stage in debates in the contemporary world. On the other hand, the lack of a conclusive definition of the object inhibits its real intentions and omits who serves and served its main formulators. Aware of this, the present work seeks to rescue the development of the notion from the perspective of two classical liberals, Richard Cantillon and Jean-Bapstite Say. The authors' trajectory and their intentions and omissions in their writings are analyzed from a critical point of view, highlighting their understandings of the working class and its relationship with the bourgeoisie.
