Special Issue Sustainability in Dispute: Governance, Social inequalities and Environmental Justice

This special issue emerges from the result of the International Colloquium held in the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (November 2024) under Scientific direction of Prof. Dr. iur. Rahma Bentirou Mathlouthi (HES-SO), held in Fribourg, Switzerland, under the theme Gouvernance et justice socio-environnementale. The colloquium brought together researchers, professionals, and social actors to critically examine the tensions between prevailing environmental governance models and the growing demands for socio-environmental justice, opening a productive scientific debate that this special issue aims to further develop and disseminate.
