Abstract

A new concept of teaching and learning has been gaining strength among the main Brazilian schools, the active methodologies, a method already used for years in some countries of the first world, which places the student in the protagonist position, making him dynamic, active, providing cognitive domain. Among the methodologies used in this study, the Simulated Jury was proposed, which consisted of a way of simulating the judgment of the disciplinary ethical process, which were organized according to the daily situation of the pharmacist's performance. After distributing two processes, prepared for the development of the methodology, the academics were divided into two groups, which obeyed the formation of the plenary of a regional council of pharmacy, and the defendants were chosen, as well as their respective lawyers, if interventions were suggested legal entities. During the discussions, each of the processes separately, those involved chose a reporting board member, who substantiated the vote and presented it to the plenary, which opened discussions until the end, that is, conclusion and final vote. Process I was continued, as the involved appealed the decision to the plenary of the Federal Council of Pharmacy (CFF), which was re-formed, joining the members of the two processes to form the plenary, 27 counselors, representing 26 states and 1 Federal District. After presentation by the rapporteur, the process was discussed and finally voted, maintaining the decision rendered by the regional council of origin. Thus, it can be concluded that this type of active methodology is quite relevant, providing better understanding and, as a consequence, learning for academics about pharmaceutical legislation.
