Interpersonal Action permeating organisational borders - verifying applicability of an American research tool in Brazil

With the rise of the importance attributed to the interactions between organizations, several studies on factors that contribute, either negatively or positively, to the flow of these interactions arise. Outsourcing processes, consortia and joint ventures contributed for making capital invested in those bordering the organizations areas more valuable and also their study most opportune. Especially when it comes to the particular nature of relationships that occur in environments of hierarchical, ethnic and cultural differences. Among the studies on the subject, most were designed in other countries and to verify their results in Brazil It is necessary an intellectual and operational investment. The main objective of this work is to verify the applicability of a foreign research in two major organizations with different characteristics, from a comparative analysis of results after applying the same search on each one. The methodology focused on conceptual research upon the work taken as reference and examining the relationship between interpersonal strategic action to reduce threat and trust. The results showed no guidance for applicability of the questionnaire survey without modifications suggested its adaptation, since it takes into account the cultural traits of brazilian people.Downloads
