Abstract

The analysis developed in this work focuses on the study of cooperation networks business, and a case study of the Redefort in the municipality of Rio Grande. The aim is to identify the problems of coordination that affect the functioning and performance of Redefort. The method that characterizes the work is a study of qualitative and descriptive character, developed from data collected through a roadmap of semi-structured applied to businessmen linked to Redefort. Based on this survey data were identified five types of problems of coordination: differences in the mix of regional products; size of the stores involved; predictability of trading; problem and Principal Officer, and effective participation and involvement in Redefort. The paper describes each of the identified problems of coordination as well as its causes and consequences for the Redefort and the associated companies.
